Sold to Prince Yusupov. The Yusupov family was immensely rich. In 1914, Prince Felix (1887-1967) married Grand Duchess Irina Alexandrovna, niece of Czar Nicolas II. In 1916, the prince was one of the main plotters behind the assassination of Rasputin. After the revolution, he left Russia to France, taking with him some of the magnificent family jewels.
